Witwer on Gov. Whitmer’s first State of the State address
LANSING — Tonight, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer delivered her first State of the State address, outlining her vision for the state and calling for bipartisan collaboration to address the issues facing Michigan’s working families. In response, state Rep. Angela Witwer (Delta Township) issued the following statement:
“Under Gov. Whitmer’s leadership we are entering a new era in Michigan, and with it comes an opportunity to work together to put our state on the right path. Michiganders deserve a government that listens to their concerns and works in their best interest, and Gov. Whitmer’s address tonight showed that she understands the issues that matter to our state’s working families, and that she’s ready to roll up her sleeves and join us in getting to work on them. I look forward to joining her and my colleagues in that important work, and ensuring the people of our state have the resources they need to thrive.”
Rep. Witwer was joined for the address by CEO of Edge Publicom, Rishar Jandron, and CEO and founder of Michigan Business Network, Chris Holman.
